Kupwara wins PM’s award for holistic development | KNO

Srinagar, Apr 17 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district has been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024 in the category of ‘Holistic Development of Districts’. The award will be presented by the Prime Minister of India during the Civil Services Day celebration on April 21, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. In an official communique, a copy of which lies in the possession of news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), V. Srinivas, IAS, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), invited Ayushi Sudan, Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, to attend the event and receive the award on behalf of the district. The recognition highlights the significant strides made by the Kupwara administration in ensuring integrated and inclusive development—(KNO)
